Once I light it, the scent of the candle flows through the air with its wonderful, calming scent. "I LOVE the bamboo scent and I wanted to try something new. I love lavender scented things and based on the reviews I chose this one. It's not a horrible scent but I agree with other reviewers that it smells like men's cologne. I put it in my large bathroom and it's not disgusting. but I may soon get tired of my bathroom smelling like men's cologne, and nothing of lavender :("
